MyLikes Welcomes 3 New Team Members

It's a really exciting time for us here at MyLikes. Not only have we passed the 100,000 user mark (whoo!), but we also have 3 new members joining out team! We're so happy to announce that John DiCola, Nick White, and Tracy Scott are joining the MyLikes team. All three are ex-Googlers, and we're really looking forward to working with all of them!


John DiCola is joining us as the Senior Director of Sales. Before joining MyLikes, John was an active angel investor as well as a startup and non-profit advisor. He worked at Google from 2000-2007. As Regional Sales Manager in the Midwest, John founded the Google Chicago office, and ran the Google offices in Chicago, Detroit, and Dallas, John and his team built successful advertising relationships with the advertisers and their agencies headquartered in the Midwest. Previous to Google he was a Regional Sales Manager for Engage and a Sales Manager for Chris Schuba and Company. He has a B.A. from Denison University.










Nick White is one of our two new engineers. Nick was a Senior Software Software Engineer at Google, where he worked for four years before joining MyLikes. His last two years were spent as a technical lead of a small team in YouTube focused on social features and personalization. Nick earned an M.A. in Linguistics from USC before quitting is Ph.D. program to work at Google. He also has an S.B. in Linguistics and an S.B. in Mathematics from MIT.

Tracy Scott is our other new engineer. Before joining MyLikes, Tracy Scott was CTO of Pixelpipe, where he designed and managed a cloud-based large-scale media storage and distributed system. Before that he worked at Google from 2002 to 2007. He won a Google Founders award for his work on the AdWords backend team. He also worked on systems infrastructure for Google Base and Google Reader. Tracy is a recepient of a Google’s Founders Award. He worked at a image processing startup before joining Google. Tracy has a engineering degree from University of California, Berkeley.
